:shakefist: :shakefist: MY NEW MOTHERBOARD IS MALFUNCTIONING! WHAT THE FUCK?!!! :shakefist: :shakefist:

I was happy/angered/worried when my new PC case came in early but damaged on Thursday. I called up Newegg and they replaced it at no charge and gave me free overnight delivery. So I ended up getting the replacement case yesterday (the original day it was supposed to be delivered) and brought it home. I started construction at 6:40 PM and was done at 9:00 PM, it took a while because I was being extra careful and I had to remove a hard drive from my old PC and reinstall it on the new one.

From 9:00 PM to 2:30 AM I tried and continuously failed to format this PC. The Windows 7 OS install wouldn’t go all the way through. I constantly got “Blue Screens of Death” and random restarts. Thinking that my new hard drives were defective I used an old hard drive that I knew worked well and tried to format it. The formatting failed. I took a break and looked up these symptoms on Google and found out that they were signs of a damaged motherboard. So now I have to wait until Monday to contact Newegg and have them issue a replacement (hopefully for the same free overnight shipping) :pleasegod: .

On a good note though all the other parts seemed to worked well and respond, even the the hard drives, although they couldn’t be formatted. Hopefully I’ll have better luck with the replacement motherboard.
